Gretchen Van Vliet, MPH, is a senior public health and strategy consultant with more than 20 years of experience leading complex initiatives across nonprofit, academic, public sector, and global health settings. Her work focuses on strategic planning, grant development, partnership building, and program design for mission-driven organizations seeking sustainable growth and measurable impact. Gretchen has directed multi-million-dollar, multi-partner projects and brings deep expertise in aligning organizational strategy with funding opportunities, organizational priorities, and implementation realities.

As a consultant with Cauthen Collaborative, Gretchen complements the firm’s grant management and funding operations expertise by supporting clients upstream, helping clarify strategy, strengthen grant readiness, and design competitive programs that resonate with funders.
